Within 30 minutes drive
You can get to Tarbert via the Portavadie ferry, Tarbet is a lovely picturesque town built round a harbour. Portavadie boasts a new marina with excellent restaurant. Dunoon with a wealth of shops and restuarants/tea rooms is reached easily within half an hour by car, Dunoon has 2 supermarkets, various hotels and restuarants and a swimming pool. A trip round to Colintriave provides an opportunity to sample the excellent food at he Colintriave Hotel and catch the ferry to Bute.
